Chapter 1: Spring Ball

From Samus' ship, go right 1 room. Run to the right and fall down the gap. Jump onto the first breakable block on the right and use the morph ball to go through the hidden small space in the right wall. Continue to the right until you fall down. Shoot downward through the breakable blocks until you fall into the next room. Head left 2 rooms. Fall all the way down and then head left until you find the first Alpha Metroid. Shoot it with missiles to defeat it.

Head right 2 rooms. Go up into the first room on the right. Continue right 1 more room. Go through the small space and through 2 more rooms on the right. Fall all the way down and head into the next room on the right. Drop down again and head right another room. Go right 2 more rooms. Head all the way up and then go right 2 rooms. Jump all the way up again and continue right until you enter Area 1.

Continue to the right, then drop all the way down. Head left 1 room. Shoot the missile door on the left to go through. Shoot the Chozo Orb to get the Morph Ball Bomb.

Use a bomb on the floor to get the Missile Expansion.

Go right 2 rooms. Jump up and enter the first room on the right. Shoot the statue in the right wall, then go through the hidden small space just above it. Jump up on the platform to get an Energy Tank.

Head right 1 room. Fall down and enter the first room on the right. Shoot the wall of the platform to get a Missile Expansion.

Jump onto the 2nd platform from the left. Shoot the blocks above you to reach another Missile Expansion.

Fall back down. Shoot the platform below you to get another Missile Expansion.

Head left 1 room. Fall all the way down and enter the room on the left. Shoot the missile door to go through. Then shoot the Chozo Orb to get the Ice Beam.

Go right 2 rooms. Jump up and enter the 2nd room on the right. Continue through 1 more room on the right. Run to the right side of this room and fall through the hidden gap in the floor. Progress downward to find the Spider Ball.

Use the Spider Ball to go back up into the previous room. Go left 1 room. Jump up on the ledge above you, then use the Spider Ball to go up the right wall. Go right 1 room to encounter an Alpha Metroid.

After defeating the metroid, use the Spider Ball to climb up the right wall, across the ceiling, into the previous room, up the right wall some more, and left across a long ceiling. Go to the left of the missile restore on the ceiling and drop down. Use a bomb to get through the wall on the right. Then go right 1 room. Shoot the wall of the 1st platform to get a Missile Expansion.

Continue to the right to find another Missile Expansion.

Return to the previous room. Run all the way to the left and drop down. Continue left into the next room. Go left 1 more room. Fall all the way down and enter the room on the right. Use bombs and the Spider Ball to go right in this room. Shoot through the sand wall on the right and enter the next room. Fall down and enter the room on the right. Go right 1 more room to fight an Alpha Metroid.

Go left 3 rooms. Fall down and enter the 1st room on the right to fight another Alpha Metroid.

Go left 3 rooms to find an Alpha Metroid.

After the ground shakes, go right 2 rooms. Go up and enter the room on the right. Continue upward and enter the room on the left. Shoot through the sand and head left 1 room. Go up and enter the first room on the left. Continue left 1 more room, leading you to Area 2.

Fall all the way down and enter the room on the left. Go left 1 more room. Progress downward until you enter room below. Continue all the way down and enter the room on the right. Head to the right, drop down, and enter the small space that's just below the ledge you were on. Head left 2 rooms. Go all the way up and enter the room on the left. Go left 1 more room to fight an Alpha Metroid.

Go left 1 room. Progress to the left side of the room. Jump up on the small ledge and use the Spider Ball to climb the left wall. Run to the left, then climb up that wall and into the small space. In the next room you'll find a Missile Expansion.

Return to the previous room. Drop all the way down and enter the room on the left. Go left 3 more rooms. Drop through the small gap in the middle of the room. Go into the water and head right 1 room. Use the Spider Ball in this room to reach a Missile Expansion.

Fall all the way down in the water. Use the hidden small space in the bottom right corner and head right 1 room. Progress to the right to find an Alpha Metroid.

Continue to the right. Jump onto the left small ledge that's just above the water. Use the Spider Ball to go through the hidden small space that's in the bottom left corner of the wall. Following this path will lead you to a Missile Expansion.

Return to the ledge above the water. Climb up the left wall and follow the small space into the room on the left. Shoot the missile door on the left and go through. Use a bomb to enter the small space below the Chozo statue. Use the Spider Ball on the left wall to enter the next room. Destroy all the orbs in here to find the Varia Suit.

Return back to the Chozo statue. Go right 1 room, progress through the small space, and fall all the way down into the water. Go left 1 room. Climb all the way up and head left another room. Jump out of the water, head up to the top level and go left 1 room. Jump all the way up and enter the room on the right. Jump onto the small ledge above you, then use the Spider Ball to climb the wall. Use bombs in the top left corner to go through the ceiling. Follow the small space to find a Missile Expansion.

Use the Spider ball to cross the rest of the ceiling, climb the upper left wall, and enter the first room on the left. Here you'll find an Alpha Metroid.

Return to the previous room. Drop down and to the right. Climb all the way up the right wall. Progress to the right and fall down the gap in the floor. Go through the missile door on the left. Shoot the Chozo Orb to encounter Arachnus. Bombs are the best way to deal damage to it. After Arachnus is defeated, you'll get the Spring Ball.
