Chapter 1: Spring Ball

After the opening cutscene, run all the way to the right, drop down, and go through the door on the left. After the melee tutorial, drop down, run all the way to the right, shoot through the floor, and go through the missile door to the right. Shoot the Chozo orb for the Morph Ball.

Return to the previous room. Enter the small space to get a Missile Expansion.

Go right 1 room. Enter the small space to drop down and take the left door. After the cutscene, take the small space in the top left corner. Run to the left to get the Scan Pulse.

Shoot through the left wall. Continue to the left, jump all the way up, and take the small space to the right to get a Missile Expansion.

Drop down and take the door to the right. Fall into the small space and shoot the wall with a missile to find a Missile Expansion.

Proceed downward, run to the left, and shoot through the left wall. Fall down some more and shoot the bottom right corner to find a Missile Expansion.

Jump back up and run to the right. Drop down and shoot through the small space in the bottom right corner. Use a parry on the Metroid, then shoot it to deal damage it. Run right 2 rooms to find an Energy Tank.

Go through the missile door. Shoot the Chozo orb for the Charge Beam.

Return to the previous room. Jump up and shoot through the small space in the right wall to find a Missile Expansion.

Proceed upward and take the top right door. Go right 1 more room. Step on the switch in the middle of the room. Drop down and take the door to the right. Proceed all the way down and take the elevator. Fall all the way down and take the door in the bottom right corner. Jump all the way up, run to the right, fall all the way down, run all the way to the right, going through a door. Use parries to deal damage to the Metroid in this room. Return to the previous room. Run to the left, jump up, and shoot the top right corner to go through a small space. Jump up and take the missile door to the left. Shoot the Chozo orb to get the Bomb.

Use bombs to drop through the floor and find a Missile Expansion.

Return to the previous room. Jump up and take the first door to the right. Use a bomb to go through the small space to the right. After the cutscene, run right, shoot through the floor to drop all the way down, and take the missile door to the left. Shoot the Chozo orb to get the Ice Beam.

Return to the previous room. Jump up and take the first door to the right. Freeze the enemy in this room to create a platform. Shoot the ceiling to find an Aeion Tank.

Use bombs to go through the small space to the right and find a Missile Expansion.

Go through the left door. Jump up and take the first door on the right. Take the small space in the wall, shoot the door, then go back to go through the door. Drop down in the small space to find the Spider Ball.

Use the spider ball to climb back up and go through the door on the left. Then climb the right wall to find a Missile Expansion.

Proceed upward and take the door on the right. Use parries and ice missiles to defeat the metroid. Climb up the right wall and use a bomb in the top right corner to find an Energy Tank.

Follow the small space to the left. Climb up the right wall and across the ceiling to find a secret area in the ceiling. Use bombs in the top left corner to find a Missile Expansion.

Drop back down to the floor of the main room. Use a bomb under the platform to find a Missile Expansion.

Run to the left, dropping down twice, and then go through the path to the right. Fall all the way down and shoot through the small space in the lower left wall. Drop down again and use a bomb to go through the left wall. Shoot through the floor and take the first door on the right. Defeat the metroid here. Return to the previous room and run all the way to the left. Freeze the flying enemy then shoot the top left corner to go through the small space. Defeat the metroid here. Use bombs in the right wall to return to the previous room. Jump up and use bombs in the upper right wall. Jump up and use a bomb just below the platform on the right wall to find a Missile Expansion.

Use a bomb to continue to the left until you find the area with the two doors. Jump up the left wall and follow that path to the left. Drop down and take the door to the left. Step on the switch here and drop down. Use the spider ball to go through the upper small space, then use a missile to get through the lower small space. Use bombs to drop down the left side of the room and take the elevator. Run to the right, drop down, go through the small space, and drop down again. Take the door to the left. Jump up and open the door to the right, but don't go through. Drop back down, run to the left, and jump up the platforms in the middle of the room to find a Missile Expansion.

Go through the door at the top of the room. Defeat the metroid in this room. Shoot the left wall with a missile to go through. Climb across the ceiling to progress and take the bottom left door. Run to the left to find the Lightning Armor.

Equip the armor to go up and find a Missile Expansion.

Open the door that's to the right, but don't go through. Drop all the way down and go through the bottom right door. Use bombs to go through the upper right corner. Proceed to the right to find a Missile Expansion.

Return to the previous room, jump all the way up, and take the path to the left. Take the elevator at the top of the room. Run all the way to the left, jump up, and go through the small space in the left wall. Climb all the way up to find a Missile Expansion.

Return to the previous room, drop down, and take the door to the left. Climb all the way up and take the top left door. Defeat the metroid in here. Return to the previous room and take the bottom left door. Proceed left 1 more room. Climb all the way up the right wall. Run to the right, drop down, and take the missile door to the left, where you'll encounter Kraid. He can be damaged by shooting his front side with missiles. After defeating him, you'll get the Spring Ball.
