Chapter 5: Phazon Suit

Use a power bomb to destroy all the walls. Then use a bomb in the water near the waterfall to reveal a spinner. Use the spinner to find the Artifact of Chozo.

Defeat the chozo ghosts and return to the Great Tree Hall. In the area with the bloodflowers, turn on the x-ray visor to find an invisible platform. Use it to reach a hidden door leading to a Missile Expansion.

Back in the Great Tree Hall, head through the door on the right and take the elevator to Chozo Ruins South. Proceed to the Furnace, defeating chozo ghosts along the way. Use a power bomb in the floor to reveal a halfpipe. Use it to reach the magnetic rail along the ceiling. Progress along these rails to find a Missile Expansion.

Head to the Watery Hall. Go in the water in the far side of the room to find a hidden chamber with a Missile Expansion.

Go to the Ruined Fountain. Take the door next to the fountain and proceed to Magma Pool. Cross the room using the grapple beam and use a power bomb on the far wall. Scan the chozo lore for the Newborn entry and then grab the Power Bomb Expansion.

Enter Training Chamber Access. Just before the next door, there's a hidden small space in the left wall. Enter it to find a Missile Expansion.

Defeat the chozo ghosts in the Training Chamber. Then use the halfpipe to bomb the 2 bomb slots. Take the lift up and use the magnetic rail to enter a small space leading to an Energy Tank.

Proceed forward until you reach the Main Plaza. Don't drop down when you enter. Use the grapple beam to cross the room and reach a Missile Expansion.

Head to the Tower of Light. Go into the water, progress forward and head through the wave beam door to find the Artifact of the Lifegiver.

Take the nearby elevator to Tallon Overworld North. Head to the Root Cave. Use the grapple beam and x-ray visor to go all the way up and find a Missile Expansion.

Take the nearby elevator to Magmooor Cavern East and head to the Geothermal Core. Use the grapple beam to go onto the first large platform. Use the spinner here and then jump onto the platform to the right. Use this spinner and then jump onto the first platform that was raised. Then jump onto the platform to the left and use that spinner. Use the magnetic rail to go up. Jump onto the highest platform and use the bomb slot there. Progress through the magnetic rails and enter the ice beam door to find the Plasma Beam.

Head to the elevator that takes you to Phendrana Drifts South. Head to Quarantine Cave (where you fought Thardus). Use the grapple beam to cross the room and head through the small space for a Missile Expansion.

Go to Ice Ruins West. Jump along the platforms on the right wall. Shoot the ice in the floor with the plasma beam for a Power Bomb Expansion.

Proceed to Phendrana Shorelines. Drop down to the ground level and shoot the ice that's behind one of the stone pillars for a Missile Expansion.

Go to the Chozo Ice Temple and shoot the ice that's in the chozo statue with the plasma beam. Use the morph to go into its hands and reveal a small space. Head through to find the Artifact of the Sun.

Head to Ice Ruins East. Just below the door that leads to Plaza Walkway is a wall of ice that can be destroyed with the plasma beam. Head through for a Missile Expansion.

Go to the Ruined Courtyard. Head towards the Observatory and then to the Control Tower. Jump into the pillar that's near the East Tower. Destroy the blocks, melt the ice in the window with the plasma beam, and shoot a super missile to knock over a large tower. Go into the small space it creates in the floor to find the Artifact of the Elder.

Proceed to Frost Cave. Grapple onto the glider to cross the room. Then shoot the stalactite on the ceiling. Fall into the water to find a Missile Expansion.

Head to Phendrana's Edge. Use the grapple beam go all the way to the top of the room and find a small space. Head through it to find a Power Bomb Expansion.

Back in Phendrana's Edge, cross the room and use a power bomb on the platform that has ice on the floor. Head through the plasma beam door to find the Artifact of Spirit.

Go to the Gravity Chamber. Shoot the ice in the ceiling to reveal a grapple point. Use it to get a Missile Expansion.

Proceed to Transport Access. Shoot the ice in the left wall to find an Energy Tank.

Take the elevator to Magmoor Caverns South, then take the elevator to Tallon Overworld West. Head to Root Cave and use the x-ray visor to reach the plasma beam door, which leads to a Missile Expansion.

Take the elevator back to Magmoor Caverns. Then head to Shore Tunnel. Use a power bomb in the glass tunnel to break it. Then drop down to get the Ice Spreader.

Go to the Warrior Shrine. Use a power bomb on the plate in front of the statue and drop through to find a Power Bomb Expansion.

Head to the Triclops Pit. In the area near the door leading to Pit Tunnel, you'll find an invisible platform using the x-ray visor. Follow the platforms until you find a Missile Expansion hidden in a pillar. Shoot the pillar with a super missile to get the expansion.

Progress to Lava Lake. In the larger area of the room, shoot the pillar with a super missile to find the Artifact of Nature.

Take the nearby elevator to Chozo Ruins North. Head to the Gathering Hall, then to the Furnace, and finally to the Elder Chamber. Shoot the red bomb slot with the plasma beam, and use the bomb slot. Enter the door below the statue to find the Artifact of World.

Take the nearby elevator to Tallon Overworld South. Then take the elevator to Phazon Mines East. Go to the Mine Security Station. In the area of the room with the ice troopers, you'll find a gate that can be destroyed with a power bomb. Scan the computer to lower the force field. Head through the plasma beam door for the Flamethrower.

Progress to Elite Research. Use a power bomb to destroy the tank and encounter the Phazon Elite, which must be scanned now. After defeating it, you'll get the Artifact of the Warrior.

Continue all the way to the Central Dynamo. Use a power bomb on the door that's blocked by rubble. Head through and progress to Metroid Quarantine A. Scan the nearby computer to release the force field. Allow the metroids to defeat the pirates and then defeat the metroids. In the area with the metroids, use the x-ray visor to cross the phazon. Use that visor again to reach the platform near the magnetic rails. Use a power bomb to destroy the wall near the rails. Cross the magnetic rail on the other side of the wall. Then use the x-ray visor to take another platform up to a Missile Expansion.

Use the magnetic rails on the wall to reach the ice beam door. In Fungal Hall Access, under one of the mushroom on the floor you'll find a Missile Expansion.

In Fungal Hall A, use the grapple beam to reach the door on the far side of the room. Then use a power bomb to enter the small space in Phazon Mining Tunnel. In Fungal Hall B, there's a circle of small mushrooms on the ground below the door on the far side of the room. Use a power bomb here to find a Missile Expansion.

Proceed to Metroid Quarantine B. Scan one of the plasma troopers that you encounter here. Use the magnetic rails and grapple beam to cross the phazon. Scan the computer to lower the force field. Then scan one of the nearby computers for a pirate data entry. Then shoot the nearby tank with a super missile to find a Missile Expansion.

Continue to Elite Quarters to encounter the next boss, Omega Pirate, which must be scanned now. Turn on the x-ray visor and shoot all of the pirate's joints with the plasma beam. Leave the x-ray visor on and wait for the pirate to appear in one of the phazon pools, then shoot it with a super missile. Continue this strategy until you defeat it and acquire the Phazon Suit.
