Chapter 6: Finale

Backtrack to the Phazon Mining Tunnel. Enter the phazon in the small space to find the Artifact of Newborn.

Return back to Elite Quarters. Head up the elevator and enter the door at the top of the room to find an Energy Tank.

In Phazon Processing Center, use a power bomb on the tiled wall to find a Missile Expansion.

Head through the ice beam door at the top of the room and take the elevator to Magmoor Caverns South, then take the elevator to Tallon Overworld West. Head to the Landing Site and restore your health in Samus' ship. Then go through the door by the waterfall. In the Temple Security Station, scan the pirate data entry here.

Continue to the Artifact Temple and scan the two chozo lores here for the Statuary and Binding entries. Then head down and grab the Artifact of Truth. Doing so will summon Meta Ridley, who must be scanned now. At the start of the fight, whenever Ridley's chest glows, shoot it with a super missile. Once Ridley starts landing on the platform, wait for it to roar and then shoot its mouth with the plasma beam. Continue hitting its mouth and chest until you enter the final phase where Ridley loses his wings. Shoot Ridley's open mouth to stun him, then shoot his exposed chest to deal damage.

After defeating Meta Ridley, head through the portal to enter the Impact Crater. Head into Crater Tunnel A and scan one of the Lumigeks you encounter here.

Scan one of the Fission Metroids you encounter in the Phazon Core. The best way to defeat them is to let them latch onto you in morph ball mode and then use a power bomb. Follow the platforms and head through the topmost plasma beam door to progress.

Continue to the Phazon Infusion Chamber to find the final boss, Metroid Prime. Scan it right away. Then shoot it with the beam that matches whatever color it is. After defeating Metroid Prime, head into the chamber below.

In Metroid Prime Lair, you'll find the Metroid Prime Core Essence. Scan it right away. When it becomes invisible, turn on your x-ray visor. Then go into the phazon pool and shoot it with the phazon beam to deal damage. Use this method with the x-ray and thermal visors until the Core Essence is defeated.
